When you work with Darcy Bookkeeping & Business Services, you're working with our experienced and qualified bookkeepers. That includes our very own Elle Nott, bookkeeper extraordinaire.
I have been working as a bookkeeper for more than 20 years. I started back in 2001 as a bookkeeper in the hospitality industry. From here I was able to obtain extra contract work with another local bookkeeper which provided exposure to a lot more industries. When I had my children, it was a great way to obtain flexible work to be able to stay home and look after children as well as earn an income.
I love the flexibility that the role offers as well as the opportunities to meet so many new people. As a newer resident to the Sunshine Coast, I found it a great way to meet local businesses and form connections with other locals.
I have clients from trades to gardeners, lawyers, accommodation, authors, jewellers, retail stores - the variety makes it more interesting.
If you want personalised support with bookkeeping, our experienced and certified bookkeepers can help. Give us a call at 1300 728 875 or fill out a contact form to get started. You may even get to work with Elle!
As a bookkeeper, I love that small businesses can concentrate on what they do best, running their own business while the numbers are taken care of by a professional. They can also shoot questions across to the bookkeeper that may take them a while to find the answers for, knowing that the bookkeeper can do the research for them or in most cases provide the answer to them without time wasting on various websites etc.
If a business keeps all their receipts and sends them to their bookkeeping file for the bookkeeper to look at and process properly, it helps to avoid any issues come audit time. All documents are then in the one place and can be easily accessed if ever needed.
